Leading to Where?

The path is never a strategic line

Only an obstacle course

With complicated meanings that sabotage our grace

Is the outcome inevitable

Always lurking in the shadows

Deceiving us with notions of destiny

How can we take part in this illusion

When we didn’t even know it was there to begin with

Who gets to choose

While we spend a lifetime wrapped in layers 

Of misunderstandings and enlightenment

Is there no reprieve for those who roam endlessly 

In the darkness……..

There is difficulty navigating the calm before the storm

But if we are to gravitate towards the light 

We must first know where the tunnel is.
